School Readiness Assessment

An evaluation of the underlying foundational abilities a child needs to have to be successful in the school environment. These critical abilities include:

  • ability to sit still

  • phonological and phonemic awareness

  • listening skills

  • ability to focus

  • auditory and visual memory

  • visual skills (for example, the ability to recognize the direction of letters)

  • precursors to proper pencil grip

This one-hour assessment includes:

  • An evaluation of your child's foundational abilities

  • A description of activities you can do with your child to address any area(s) of deficit (if needed)

  • Further recommendations (if necessary)
